GEOMATICS AND URBAN PLANNING ENGINEERING

City of the Future | Urban Design | Energy | Environmental and Social Transition | Climate resilience and adaptation | Spatial Data Management

Kenza, Chargée d'opérations maitrise d'ouvrage SDIT - MEL

This course meets a strong demand for engineering services in the urban production sectors (design, management, construction), which are subject to increasingly stringent requirements linked to the notion of sustainable development (energy transition, climate plan, preservation of water resources, etc.), in parallel with the mastery and integration of spatial data management (big data, smart city).

Geomatics and urban engineering engineers are ideally suited to meeting this demand: mastering new digital tools (BIM, GIS, intelligent network management, etc.), developing the ability to anticipate and adapt to fast-changing socio-technical, economic and political environments, participating in collective intelligence and design processes…

He works in the field of urban production, combining applied project management in a highly complementary way, from the design of spaces to spatial analysis and the use of urban and regional data. They can be involved in project management at every stage of an urban development project, from drawing up specifications to scheduling, management and coordination.
