Cette formation répond à une forte demande en ingénierie formulée par les secteurs de la production urbaine et la gestion patrimoniale des infrastructures soumis aux enjeux liés au développement durable (transition énergétique, plan climat, préservation des ressources en eau…), parallèlement à l’intégration de la gestion de données spatiales (big data, smart city).
L’ingénieur Géomatique et Génie urbain répond à cette demande : maîtrise des nouveaux outils numériques (BIM, SIG, CIM…), développement de facultés d’anticipation dans des univers sociotechniques, économiques et politiques fortement évolutifs, capacités de participer à des processus d’intelligence et de conception collectives.
Il œuvre dans le domaine de la production urbaine et de la gestion patrimoniale des infrastructures en couplant de façon complémentaire la conception d’espaces à l’analyse spatiale et l’exploitation des données urbaines et territoriales. Il peut intervenir en maîtrise d’œuvre à toutes les étapes de la réalisation d’une opération urbaine. De la formalisation du
cahier des charges jusqu’aux missions d’ordonnancement, pilotage et coordination (OPC).
