The Maison Internationale is a reception desk for international students. It welcomes you and guides you even before your arrival, but also throughout your studies, as much on the administrative front (help with procedures, personalised support) as on the social front (cultural discoveries, friendly activities).
The welcome days take place twice a year, in September and January on the various campuses of the university.
During this period, the university offers a program rich in discoveries and conviviality.
Students who come individually and on an exchange program will be able to take advantage of these days to discover the university, the city of Lille, and French culture.
International Student Year
As a successor to the International Student Week, the ‘International Student Year’ is a series of events throughout the year, always with the aim of highlighting the presence of international students and promoting international mobility among students and staff.
This year will be marked by a series of events, both educational and cultural, to help you discover the international dimension of the University of Lille.

Sports activity in our campus
More than 80 free physical and sports activities are open to all, with over 400 classes offered each week throughout the academic year. The students can also take part in events, workshops, and adapted training programs.
CULTURAL CENTER
The « Espace Culture » is located at the heart of the campus and includes a café with a stage and a reading corner, an exhibition hall extended by a gallery, and a 160-seat lecture room.
Dedicated spaces are also available for student artistic activities, including dance, music, and theater studios, as well as a photography lab.
school clubs
Taking part in the School’s clubs adds a great deal to a student-engineer’s development. Through its many clubs, sports activities, evening entertainments and great events throughout the year, student life at Polytech Lille helps to create a convivial atmosphere within the School.
The ESN Lille Association
ESN Lille (Erasmus Student Network) is an association whose main missions are to welcome and to make the integration for international students easier, but also to promote international mobility. To do so, they organize cultural and sporting events, parties and trips throughout the year always with local students.
